On Thursday, 09.12.2010 we talked about the project in "Pensamiento latino", a group of students from Tübingen, who is interested in all kind of problems and news from latinamerica, Spain and Germany.
At the end of the talk, we donated one of the Paintings from the project to the "Pensamiento latino" as they have a lot of contacts with groups, that work with children in different countries. We hope, this donation will help, directly or indirectly a lot of children.
On Friday, 10.12.2010, D'AS ARTE and Gallery Dalmau from Tübingen prepared an Auction with artworks from a lot of different artists, who donate the Auction proceeds to one of three charitable trusts (Fe y alegria/Peru; Luz de Luna/Colombia; DIF/Mexico).
Unfortunately, there were not a lot of people (the Christmas market began at the same time in Tübingen!), so that we couldn't sell many artworks, but anyway some of them could be sold and in the next days, we will contact the foundations to send them our donations.
We would like to thank heartly Mr Géza Székely, a hungarian artist living and working in Tübingen, Germany, who donated D'AS ARTE and its project the painting "Grenzen der Wahrnehmung", which he had available for the auction. He offered his time and knowledge for the next time that D'AS ARTE work again with a group of children as part of the project. Thank you very much.
