We, in D'AS ARTE, would like to thank all the people who visited us and who wrote us about our last exhibition: "Überraschungen der Liebe - Kunst in Bewegung" (german for "Surprises of love - Art in motion") and we would like to show you some pictures and news about this event.
As you know, we exhibited the works from the group D'AS ARTE (D'LOS, Sam Canon and the guest artists Fernando Lucero, Juan Lozada and Gie Bele) in the Gallery atelier from Guillermo De Lucca from 13 to 28 Februar 2010.
The main Idea behind this exhibition was to show the different points of view from different artists about the "eroticism" (german: Erotik). Juan Lozada showed two of his abstract paintings and the two poems he wrote, which are the concepts behind this paintings; D'LOS expressed her ideal of eroticism through her sculptures (most huging pairs); Sam Canon photographs shows the female body in a relative abstract form; Gie Bele had a couple of drawings and sculptures and Fernando Lucero' illustrations/etchings were a little bit more explicit about the sexual act. But, all in all, we wanted to show that it doesn't matter how do you see this topic of eroticism, how do you want to express it or what do you like or what do you find extrem or horrible: all forms of eroticism are just parts of a big whole, because sensible or tenderly, abstract or figurative, explicit or implicit, love or sex, all of that will guide us (as have been done since the beginning of times) to the most important thing in the world: A NEW LIFE!
